It's almost time again.
On September 27, 2025 goes
the Wexl Enduro Race Kids
to the next round!

Together with theSports Union Hinterbrühland the Muddy Team Bikers The Wexl Trails are organizing THE enduro race for kids & teens again.

Depending on the age category, the Mini Racers will cause quite a stir in the Mini Bike Park or the Trail Park. Because, as they have proven to us over the past years: even the smallest ones love the scent of racing.

The Wexl Enduro Race is a mountain biking race for children and teenagers from 3 to 16 years old. The special thing about the enduro format: You can't get by without pedaling – a small section uphill is part of it. . Our guides are always with us and accompany the kids even on the uphill sections.

For the race classification, only the times on the downhill stages count. An exciting race format where fun for everyone is the focus - and don't worry: the tracks are perfectly adjusted to the respective age group.

From the U13 category onwards, the state championship in enduro youth is also held among licensed riders from Lower Austrian clubs.

Registration:

Registration: Online registration (from July 22, 6:00 PM).
If no registration is possible anymore, all starting spots are taken. A subsequent registration online or on-site is then no longer possible.

Deadline:September 22, 2025, or earlier if the maximum number of participants is reached.
In recent years, the max. number of participants has always been reached a few weeks before the race. An early registration is advisable to secure a starting place.

Starting money: U5 – U11: € 20,- / U13 – U17: € 28,- plus € 3,- card fee

Participation and overall ranking in classes U5 to U11 is possible with a Cycling Austria license, CA Member Card, or even without a license/Member Card.
The Cycling Austria Member Card is recommended for participation (Tip: Family Card!) :  https://cyclingaustria.at/membercard

 For participation and overall ranking in classes U13 to U17, a Cycling Austria license or CA Member Card is mandatory.For the ranking in the Lower Austrian State Championship MTB Enduro, you must be registered with a Lower Austrian club and present a valid Cycling Austria license.

Race participants are allowed to use the trails and the conveyor belt on race day with an attached start number. No separate trail admission ticket needs to be purchased. A bike lift ticket is not included in the entry fee, but it is also not required for the race.

Friday, 26.09.

14:00-16:00 Number distribution at the race office ("Ameisenbau" under Wexl Lounge)

Saturday, 27.09.

08:00-09:30 AM distribution of starting numbers in the race office ("Ant Hill" under Wexl Lounge)

09:00-09:30 Track inspection possible, after that the tracks are closed for race preparation and the race

09:30 a.m. Riders Meeting

10:00 AM Start U5/U7

12:00 Award ceremony U5/U7 (NEW 2025: no time classification, all kids are winners/finishers)

from 11:15 a.m. Start U9-U17

16:30 Award ceremony U9-U17

There are additional parking spaces at the summer toboggan run (Address: St. Corona am Wechsel 162)

Equipment

Mandatory:

  • Roadworthy mountain bike with functioning brakes

    (Downhill bikes with dual-crown forks are not recommended, as the transfer to the start is uphill; e-bikes are not allowed)

  • Helmet
  • Long finger gloves

Voluntary:

  • more protectors

Stage Map & Route Barriers

Blocking for day guests on race day:

  • left side of the mini bike park (09:30-12:00)
  • Last section on the left from the mini bike park including finish entry with table (09:30-15:30)
  • David Flowy between about Bike Lift-Middle (Winter Lift-Exit) and Mini Bike Park (12:00-15:30)
  • Davy Flow between bike lift exit to about bike lift middle (1:00-2:45 PM)
  • Rooty Balboa section from the bike lift exit to about the midpoint of the bike lift (approximately 1:45 PM-3:00 PM)
  • Red Zeppelin section just below the pond up to the bike lift exit (approx. 13:35-15:00)

Only participants of the race are allowed to drive on the race track itself. Race participants are accompanied by guides. Other accompanying persons are not allowed on the race track.
